Manchu PicchuSpectrumScott Spongberg has traveled throughout six continents, hundreds of locations and shoots thousands of photographs annually. His work reflects the love of architecture, foreign cultures and a flair for capturing rare and unique images.

His travels allow him to view the cultures from the inside looking outward — in his words, “...trying not to look like a tourist”. “I’m always seeking out staircases, labyrinths, passageways, chateaus, cottages, gardens, and courtyards for that one unique photo.”

As Scott travels and develops new work, the images displayed here are in a constant state of change. At least once a year, he jets off to some of the world's most remote locations to add to his photographic collection.

Whether photographing a piece of architecture dating back to the Egyptian Pharaohs, or daily life in a remote Tibetan Monastery, Scott strives to capture the ideal blend of natural light and color in order to create the perfect image.
